The Canadian Coin News Trends Canadian Decimal Coinage Inventory List is a simple one-stop catalogue for collectors trying to keep track of their coins’ grade, cost, “ITV” (investment to value) and other information.
The nearly 100-page inventory booklet lists all Canadian circulation coins since decimalization was introduced to present-day Canada in 1858. Each coin’s year-date is listed alongside known varieties also recorded in Trends, and four additional columns provide space for you to write in your items’ specific details. Every other page is also left blank to provide you with extra space to list additional coins as you wish.
The nearly 100-page inventory booklet is published for collectors as a complement to Trends, the CCN price guide that’s included in every issue and is set to mark its 58th anniversary in 2021. It’s intended for all Canadian decimal coin collectors, whose every last inventory requirement will be met with the help of this trusty new booklet.
Since CCN was launched in 1963, we’ve published our popular price guide now known as Trends (and then as the Standard Price Guide). Offering an estimate of retail values based on dealer sales, wholesale prices, auction results and precious metal prices, Trends is updated biweekly by a rotating board of guest editors headed by trusted numismatist Michael Findlay, the president of the Canadian Association of Numismatic Dealers. Each guest editor takes a different focus, with issues of Trends cycling between different decimal coin denominations, Maritime coins, RCM products, Proof-like singles and Canadian paper money.
Intended as a personalized counterpart to Trends, CCN’s new inventory booklet allows you to keep track of your coins in a simple, consistent and complete manner. Simply check your collection, reference Trends for the most reliable, up-to-date valuations on Canadian coins, and then fill out your inventory booklet.
The Canadian Coin News Trends Canadian Decimal Coinage Inventory List features all Canadian circulation coins since decimalization was introduced to present-day Canada in 1858, when the Province of Canada issued a letters patent to produce legal-tender five-, 10- and 20-cent coins in silver plus cents in copper.
