Canadian Banknote Acrylic Storage Box – 1935 to Present
Designed by Canadian Coin News and CoinStampSupplies.com and Made in Canada, this sturdy clear acrylic storage and display box was created specifically for Canadian banknotes issued from 1937 onward.
Canadian banknotes from 1937 onward measure approximately 152.4 × 69.85 mm (6 × 2.75 inches). The holder has internal dimensions of 152.4 × 69.85 × 12.7 mm (6 × 2.75 × 0.5 inches), providing a precise fit for Canadian banknotes.
The box can also accommodate banknotes from other countries measuring no more than 152.4 × 69.85 mm (6 × 2.75 inches), making it a versatile storage and display option for collectors of world paper money.
The box comfortably holds a standard strap of up to 100 traditional Canadian paper banknotes. Canada’s polymer banknotes, introduced beginning in 2011, take up slightly less space when stacked, so the box may accommodate more than 100 polymer notes.
Made from durable, high-clarity acrylic, the box provides excellent visibility while offering a strong, lightweight alternative to glass. The acrylic also offers UV-resistant properties, making the holder suitable for both storage and display.
The fitted lid is held securely in place by strong magnets. The magnetic closure can support up to approximately 130 grams, while still allowing easy access to your banknotes.
